Belle was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since the age of eight, she knew that she belonged in New York. In 2015, Bakst moved to Hell’s Kitchen with her husband where she currently resides.
Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Gioiello, W42nd St, Harper’s Bazaar, and DuJour. Her first styling client was Mirjana Puhar from America’s Next Top Model, cycle 21. Previously, she was also an intern for a top celebrity stylist, and has assisted with numerous celebrity clientele. Her friends lovingly know her for her color coordinated book collection.
When she’s not on the streets of Manhattan, running from designer showroom to showroom, she is likely nose deep in the “Modern Love” section of The New York Times with a cup of iced coffee.
She is a strong advocate for mixing high and low, and believes that from the Salvation Army on 46th street to Bergdorf Goodman, a little fashion and a little style can be found anywhere.
Belle Bakst is a NYC fashion stylist, contributing journalist, influencer, and founding editor of little fashion stylist.
