Hello world! It’s a whole new year…and I felt what better way to start off the new year than with a warm welcome to a brand new editorial fashion site. For the past six years, I’ve been working in the fashion industry as a freelance fashion stylist and journalist. I’ve learned so much, and I’m continually learning from some of the best in the business of both fashion and beauty.

What I adore most about the fashion world is that it’s constantly evolving, and with it, so have I. Things like networking at events used to scare me, and going to New York Fashion Week was a far away dream. When I moved to NYC from North Carolina in 2015 I had no idea what awaited me. Now I am here in the city, living my life and pursuing my dreams. Little Fashion Stylist is a place for myself and others to share the amazing fashion, beauty, and lifestyle bits they’ve discovered, to help share with our readers. I’ll be featuring some amazing designers I’ve come to meet, and articles from friends and colleagues in the industry. And, of course, my little styling tips along the way.

You don’t have to have an endless budget, or live in a large city to learn from the pros. Some of the best tips I’ve ever picked up have been the most surprising. Whether I’m working with a celebrity client, a commercial that will air nationally, or just helping with a closet clean-out, the same sentiment has held true to me that a little fashion and a little style can be found absolutely anywhere.
