I have always loved film cameras. Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always had a film camera. So today I visited Fujifilm’s Wonder Photo shop in Flatiron. For someone like me, who adores film cameras, and Fujifilm, it was kind of a field day for me.

Go take advantage of the most gramable spot ever! Wonder Photo Shop is so cute!

I love film because it’s tangible nostalgia. There’s something mesmerizing about it. That’s why my wedding was shot almost entirely on film! If you’re like me, then it’s been a while since you’ve done anything fun with a camera outside the norm. Some of the amazing things I got to test out while there today included: the limited time Instaworthy windows & photo booth, the super easy to use print kiosks (hello $.39 cents a print!), and the enormous selections of Fujifilm products & craft tables!

Right now they have a beautiful installation photo backdrop by the very talented Frank New (I joked that I wish he could decorate my apartment and make the whole thing gramable)!

Not only did I have a blast in the store and in the photo booth, but they also fixed my Instax 8 camera, that I had all but given up on. I honestly can’t recommend them enough. I love my little camera and haven’t used it in about a year sine I’ve had issues with it. It wasn’t even five minutes before it was up and running perfectly again! At the last moment before leaving the apartment, I grabbed it. The staff taught me that the film I had in the camera was overexposed. You have to go see the space for yourself. It’s so beautiful, and it makes for a fun afternoon with friends or even a date!
