Red lipstick has a special place in my heart. I think of red lipstick the way some women might think of foundation or mascara: totally necessary, and I truly feel bare without it. My close friend, and celebrity makeup artist Mirna, introduced me to my current red lipstick obsession just a few weeks before my wedding makeup trial. So what was the winner in my book for longest lasting red lip I’ve ever tried? Believe it or not, it’s the Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain, “Always Red” that came out on top. And did I mention it was $14.00? While naturally, I can’t speak on behalf of all women that wear red lipstick- and there are so many of us, it feels at times like a community. I have suggested this red lipstick time and time again when someone asks me what color I’m wearing.

Throughout my seemingly life long relationship with red lips, I have tried dozens, maybe even hundreds of different shades of red. However, when I tried this lip on, it survived everything!
